You know the old saying, "Snitches get stitches?
" Well, in the case of one Fayette County, WV woman, she owes herself some stitches.
Cops were called to the home of April Lavender after they received a complaint from her grandmother, saying that she let April borrow her car. The car was never returned, so deputies went to investigate. It was at that time that they noticed a note on Lavender's door, saying:
"Due to snitches everyone entering my home is subject to being searched. All cell phones and drinks will be left outside!! (If you’re not a snitch, it won’t offend you if I search you)."
That was all cops needed to see to know that something shady was going on inside. A search of Lavender's home turned up heroin and meth, as well as other drug-related substances.
Lavender was arrested and bond was set at $10,000.
