School teacher Brent Walker knew many of his fifth grade students would not be receiving Easter baskets over the holiday weekend and wanted to do something to help.
After posting to Facebook about how he wanted to buy each of his students a pre-made basket from Wal-Mart that were about $10 each and would accept donations, he raised over $700 in a matter of hours.
With the money, Walker was not only able to get the fully loaded baskets for his classroom of students but for every fifth grader at the school in Tampa!
So there's your dose of Monday mushiness to get you through the day! We definitely are a lot more positive knowing people like Brent Walker are out there making people's days! Source: ABC News
