Gary Kelmer, 66, has become the favorite bus driver among kids and parents alike at this school in the Philadelphia suburbs so what better way to show their appreciation than Super Bowl tickets?
Kelmer is a born-and-raised Eagles fan, even teaching kids on his bus the fight song, and is all-around a genuine and amazing person.
So to show Kelmer how important and appreciated he is, the community banded together to raise $5,000 in five days to get him to the Super Bowl!
Two tickets, air fare, hotel, and even a customized Eagles jersey with "Mr. Gary" across the back was just the beginning of this wonderful surprise.
On Monday, over 60 parents and students rallied at Kelmer's last stop of the day to surprise him with the Super Bowl package.
His reaction was enough to make any person with a soul, but especially sports fans, tear up a little.
“This is a special dream come true. I am ecstatic! I am ecstatic,” Kelmer exclaimed to the crowd.
