Well the marijuana smell at this California high school actually has nothing to do with the students there, so that's a plus, but the nearby pot farms may have to come up with a solution.
The parents say the smell is at its worst when they are dropping their kids off in the morning and feel the legal pot greenhouses nearby should use windmills or something to push the smell in a different direction. Sounds like an idea a high person would come up with but we'll go with it.
School officials say the smell could pose health risks, not because students can get a good contact high, but some people there have complained of headaches. Whether that's from the smell or the stress of being at school, who really knows? We do know, though, of something that could use to help with that though and lucky enough for them, it's so close they can smell it!
The school also worries the smell could be a source of temptation for students to try those dank greens they are so exposed to every day.
Officials are working on a solution or a better way to regulate but for now, we hope these kids enjoy the rest of their time at Carpinteria High.
