A couple in New Jersey won a $315 million Powerball jackpot over the weekend, but the way they went about getting their ticket was a little out of the ordinary.
Tayeb Souami of Little Ferry, NJ was sent back to the grocery store to return a carton of orange juice he had just purchased because his wife found a cheaper option. While he was there, Tayeb bought a ticket for the $315 Powerball jackpot and ended up winning!
Can you imagine how pissed his wife would have been if they hadn't won? She's obviously a bit of a penny pincher! But it appears to have paid off this time!
