During a hearing last month in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania GOP State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe made it known he is a heterosexual man with a wife who does not appreciate his arm being touched by another man.
It all started when Democrat, Rep. Matt Bradford, was trying to make a point and for a split second (while talking with his hands like many of us do) put his hand on Metcalfe’s forearm.
This clearly made Metcalfe extremely uncomfortable and hilariously vocalized his issues.
“Look, I’m a heterosexual. I have a wife, I love my wife. I don’t like men, as you might. But stop touching me all the time," Metcalfe said.
While Bradford and the rest of the committee shared mixed expressions of surprise and chuckling, Metcalfe continued on while throwing in a dig on democrats.
"Keep your hands to yourself. Like, if you want to touch somebody, you have people on your side of the aisle that might like it. I don’t," he said.
If a simple touch gets him in that much of a tizzy, at least we can assume he and his wife must have a very interesting and fun relationship! So that's a plus, right?
