Police arrived to the scene of a rear-end accident to find a mother of two toddlers, Kim Marvin had been driving drunk.
While in the process of the arrest for a DUI, another mother, Megan Andrews saw the officer struggling to also wrangle and help the two toddler boys in the back seat. Andrews then pulled a U-ey, stopped, and asked the officer if he needed help with the kids.
"If you wouldn't mind," said the officer.
So Andrews sprung into action, she ran home, grabbed some of her own children's toys and food for the kids and came back to the scene to keep the children occupied until another family member could get them.
Andrews also passes little judgement over Marvin, saying she must be working through a lot of pain and hopes she gets the help she needs.
Until that happens though, Marvin has been charged with DUI and child neglect.
But shoutout to mother of the year, Megan!
