Volcanoes are some of the most dangerous things on the planet. From Hawaii to Italy and everywhere in between, these massive natural disasters are literal ticking time bombs. A TV crew from the BBC recently found that out the hard way.
Yesterday, Mt. Etna, Europe's tallest active volcano, erupted while a crew from the BBC was filming! How terrifying, right?
As the team scattered for cover, at least ten members of the team were injured by flying rocks and falling debris. Other than the fact that people were getting hurt and almost dying, that had to be one of the coolest things ever! Being able to see a volcano erupt on a close-up scale is literally once in a lifetime!
