Jasmine Turner of Suffolk, VA was out shopping for work supplies when she received a call from the police saying that there was an unresponsive child locked in her car. Since Turner does not have children, she was extremely confused by the call and told police that she could be there in five minutes. But that was too long for the police to wait, so the smashed her window to rescue the child.
When Turner got back to her car, the police were gone and her car was there, window smashed. It turns out that the police thought that Turner's wig, which she had taken off and tossed in the back seat, was a child.
