This highly-anticipated NYC Pizza Festival fell flat, and now people are so angry they are calling upon the Attorney General's Office.
Customers shelled out $75 for an event that claimed would provide 30 plus pizza vendors, but when people showed up they were met with only a few tents and a single, cold sliver of pizza.
Once more and more customers started to complain and realize the festival was not what was promised, the festival issued an "apology" stating there would be a make-up tasting" and to "not come for the rest of the night's tastings."
The reason for all of this being, according to the festival organizer, is the event producer Hangry Garden pulling out of the event. Hangry Garden then responded saying they were not paid for their services and the event was looking to not be what it said it was so they pulled out. The day of the event the organizer told Hangry Garden they were having trouble finding vendors and were just going to "order pizza to the venue.
The Attorney General is now involved after so many complaints online and to their office.
