Residents in the town of Fruitland Park, Florida are under attack...by monkeys! Recently, residents have spotted what they believe to be a male, a female and a baby Macaque monkey in various spots throughout the town. They have seen them climbing and swinging in the trees, as well as snooping around on rooftops and porches.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation has posted flyers throughout the town, warning residents of the monkeys and telling people to keep their distance if they spot one. While the monkeys do look cute and cuddly, they're extremely strong and dangerous if approached. Conservation officers are worried that people will try to get a little too close for a photo op, and that could end poorly.
