Parking tickets are the devil. Whether they are from colleges or the city, parking tickets can really kill a good day. And for one guy, really killed him! Well not literally.
Carolyn White found the body of 62-year-old Jacob Morpeau slumped over the center console in his car. It was reported that from November 12th through the 15th, officers ticketed Morpeau’s car several times. White says that it was the pile of tickets that tipped her off to something being wrong.
The good news for Morpeau is that Fort Lauderdale officials dismissed the ticket $160 fees, stating it was due to "extenuating circumstances." Well duh. Death is kind of one of those things that hinders bill payment. How generous of them!
