Lincoln Assassination Eyewitness on 1956 Television Show (Video)
When you think of the Civil War and Abraham Lincoln it almost seems like it was in a completely other universe, by this time. Well, we forget that that particularly dark chapter in our nation's history wasn't that long ago when you truly think about it. In fact, in 1956 the last surviving witness to President Lincoln's assassination went on a television show to discuss what he saw at Ford's Theater when he was only 5-years-old.
