Steve is out in New Jersey this week, broadcasting live with 105.7 The Hawk at the Ocean of Love Billboard Radiothon.  Andy Chase, the afternoon guy on The Hawk, is living on a billboard to raise $105,700 for Ocean of Love, an Ocean County, NJ-based organization that gives financial and emotional support to the families of children diagnosed with cancer.

In most cases, when a child is diagnosed with cancer, one parent has to leave their job to care for the child 24/7.  Obviously, this puts an enormous financial strain on the family.  That's where Ocean of Love comes in.  They provide money for the everyday things that people take for granted...meals, transportation, Christmas presents, Thanksgiving dinner, ANYTHING.  

They're a quality of life organization.  They fill in the gaps where other charities may fall short.  Now, many of you reading this are probably not from Ocean County, NJ, but that doesn't really matter.  Kids shouldn't have to deal with cancer, no matter where they're from.  Make a donation or bid on one of the many awesome auction items by clicking here or by texting "LOVE" to 89000.
